About the Role:
Join the Planet Fitness team in Medina, OH as an Overnight Housekeeping & Guest Services team member! In this role, you will ensure a clean, welcoming environment for our members during the night shift while providing exceptional guest services. If you are detail-oriented and passionate about fitness, we want you on our team!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of gym facilities, including locker rooms, fitness areas, and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to members and guests, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Perform nightly cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Restock supplies in locker rooms and public areas to ensure member satisfaction.
- Monitor the facility for safety and security, reporting any issues to management.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed to keep the gym in top condition.
- Engage with members to create a positive and friendly atmosphere.
- Support team members in achieving overall cleanliness and guest service goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; experience in housekeeping or customer service is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during overnight hours.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse members.
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds* and perform physical tasks as required.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for overnight shifts and weekends.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment preferred.
- Positive attitude and a passion for fitness and wellness.
- Applicant must be at least 18 years old to apply.
